This piece is about a girl who's lost her beloved brother in a battle long ago. Not knowing the fate of her death is near, she reaches out and offers the God half of her life span(the light) in exchange for her brother's life.

I pictured this after I've played the game, Shadow of the colossus, which BTW is one of the most amazing and original puzzle game ever made. it was done couple of weeks ago on photoshop CS2 and Painter IX. this piece is the first one done with Painter. I still have long ways to get better at using the Painter IX.

When browsing your gallery and saw the thumbnail of this piece I immediately though "this has to be inspired from Shadow of the Colossus", and I'm pleased to see I was right. :-)

Was a damned good game, and after finishing it I was inclinded to buy Ico, in which SotC is the spiritual successor. Now I'm waiting for The Last Guardian which also is made by the same people.
